Half Meter

This is a short film in pure Hokkien, which shows the true appearance of the Hokkien countryside life in the director’s memory. Guo and Pao are friends who grew up together, but their lives lead to two different paths. Pao now lives wealthily and happily with government's requisition money; while Guo ends up a struggling cab driver raising an introverted son by himself. Directed by Andrew Yang.
